Housekeeping Intern

Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting an Intern in Housekeeping to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the intern will support daily operations and quality control:

• This is full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off. 
• The starting date is estimated in mid - November.

Objectives and internship activities:
The aim of the internship, in addition to an initial induction and orientation phase within the company, includes the following activities, which the intern will carry out alongside the Tutor and gradually with increasing autonomy:

In particular, the Housekeeping Intern will focus on:

• Support in coordinating daily housekeeping activities and room assignments.
• Assist in inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Report maintenance issues or missing/damaged property to Engineering and Security.
• Help update room status and communicate discrepancies with the Front Desk.
• Assist in managing laundry operations and inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to maintaining high cleanliness and service standards.

• Strong passion for the hospitality industry and attention to detail.
• A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-first attitude 
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality
• Flexibility, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
