Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Levico Terme (TN)

Quality Control Technician is responsible for monitoring the quality of the production process, in particular by performing dimensional checks and defining any corrective measures. The Quality Control Technician thus contributes to maintaining and improving company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that parts and semi-finished products meet company standards and comply with specifications, guaranteeing adequate control activities using appropriate measuring instruments and control plans;
  • Liaising with production to define the timing and priorities of dimensional control activities.

Activities

  •  Dimensional checks using manual measuring instruments;
  • Use of coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss): creation of specific programmes for each component, measurement activities, data storage and evaluation in order to identify any non-conformities;
  • Creation of non-conformities in the system;
  • In collaboration with other company departments, definition and management of any corrective measures;
  • Participation in internal and external quality certification audits;
  • Management of the calibration of all measuring instruments used in the company.

Must have

  • Mechanical engineering diploma;
  • Knowledge and use of measuring instruments;
  • Precision, concentration and attention to detail in carrying out assigned tasks;
  • Dynamism and ability to propose solutions independently in urgent situations;
  • Willingness to engage in discussion and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Good knowledge of English (Level B1).

Nice to have

  • Work experience in product quality, with 3D measuring machines and conventional measurements;
  • Knowledge/experience of machining techniques on numerically controlled machine tools.
