ABOUT THE COMPANY:

FL Technics Wheels & Brakes is specialized in the maintenance and repair of aircraft wheels and brakes and its components.

To expand our team in Bergamo, we are looking for: AVIATION COMPONENT PAINTER.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Perform high-quality surface preparation, priming, and painting of aircraft components—including wheels, hubs, and rims—using approved materials, methods, and aviation maintenance data.
  • Ensure all painting activities meet EASA/FAA regulatory requirements and company quality standards, completing inspection sign-offs and job cards within authorized scope.
  • Adhere strictly to maintenance documentation, safety procedures, PPE usage, and environmental controls throughout every stage of the painting process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely technical documentation and recordkeeping in AMOS, ensuring full traceability and compliance for all completed tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with the painting and wider production teams, participating in daily briefings, assisting colleagues as needed, and contributing to continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

Education:

  • Mandatory: Apprenticeship certificate (civil or military), skilled worker/journeyman's certificate for surface finish application – Component painting, Motor vehicle/aircraft painting etc.
  • Additional and/or bonus: Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) appropriate to the scope of release activity for surface finish application.

Experience:

  • Minimum of months of practical experience within the trade (surface finish application).

Language Proficiency:

English proficiency in both conversation and reading/writing.
