Role Overview

We are seeking a
Cross-Border Infrastructure Policy Analyst
based in Rome to contribute to our expanding portfolio of trade corridor and logistics policy projects in Europe, the Mediterranean basin, and beyond. This role involves applied research, strategic documentation, and policy support—particularly around intermodal hubs, EU-African connectivity, and port-centric development models.

The Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to deliver corridor diagnostics, institutional assessments, and investment briefs for public and development sector stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on Italy's strategic role in Mediterranean and European logistics corridors
  • Analyze connectivity between ports, rail systems, and inland logistics zones
  • Prepare technical reports, strategy memos, and concept notes for public-sector and multilateral audiences
  • Support stakeholder mapping, regulatory reviews, and investment pipeline scoping
  • Track regional policy trends in digital trade, customs reform, and infrastructure financing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in International Trade, Transport Planning, Development Economics, or Public Policy
  • 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure advisory, trade facilitation, or EU regional development projects
  • Familiarity with European infrastructure initiatives (e.g., TEN-T), Italy's logistics assets, and Mediterranean trade routes
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Fluency in English is required
