Computacenter is Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, enabling users and their businesses. Our Group Information Services organization is looking for a Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the infrastructure operations of our data center and cloud environments.

What you'll do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of datacenter and cloud environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT operations professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance tuning for infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standards across all systems.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execution to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and scalability initiatives.
  • Drive automation and process optimization to reduce operational overhead and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures, incident response, and change management.
  • Monitor vendor performance and manage relationships for hardware, software, and cloud services.

What you'll need

  • Have good experience in managing a team, tracking, and analyzing the work. (Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in managing a team)
  • Have good experience in conflict management and cross skilling the team.
  • 10+ years of experience with knowledge of recent technologies.
  • Should have contributed to the growth of the organization through driving and taking ownership of the organization initiatives.
  • Solid troubleshooting experience when it comes to solving production problems and handling escalations from levels 2 and 3.
  • Sound knowledge to ITIL Framework (preferably ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certified, incident, problem management, change management, and configuration management.
  • Possess at least one technical certification (Microsoft / VMware preferred)
  • Experience with agile ways of working
  • Technical hands on skills with virtualization, cloud, infrastructure as a code and similar areas.
