The Showroom Sales Assistant in Milan is responsible for delivering an elevated client experience and supporting sales activities within the showroom. This role blends hospitality, sales support, and showroom operations, ensuring every visitor experiences the brand's craftsmanship, elegance, and attention to detail. The position requires a polished, service-oriented individual with a passion for design and the ability to convert client interest into sales.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom Experience & Presentation

  • Maintain a refined, immaculate showroom environment aligned with luxury brand standards.
  • Prepare the showroom for daily operations, appointments, and walk-ins.
  • Organize displays, samples, catalogues, and presentation materials.
  • Support visual merchandising to keep the showroom inspiring and aesthetically cohesive.

Client Assistance & Sales

  • Greet clients, architects, designers, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Present product collections, finishes, and customization options clearly and confidently.
  • Understand client needs and guide them toward suitable solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, assist with pricing, and support the sales team in closing deals.
  • Manage follow-ups with potential clients to drive conversions.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently explain materials, craftsmanship, and brand values.

Sales & Business Support

  • Assist with preparing client appointments, sample sets, and product presentations.
  • Update CRM systems with client interactions, inquiries, and sales progress.
  • Support showroom events, presentations, and VIP visits.
  • Coordinate internally with production, logistics, and administration teams for order processing.

Inventory & Sample Management

  • Track and organize showroom stock, samples, and catalogues.
  • Ensure samples are always clean, complete, and ready for client use.
  • Manage sample check-outs and returns from designers, clients, and the sales team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in luxury retail, showroom, interior design, or sales support roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and confident presence.
  • Passion for design, interiors, architecture, or luxury goods.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a dynamic showroom environment.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (both essential for Milan).
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, quotations, and basic administrative tasks.
