Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with major operations in Słupsk, Poland, Milarex processes and delivers a wide range of smoked, fresh, and frozen salmon, trout, cod, and other fish products. The company is known for its strong commitment to food safety, quality, and sustainability, sourcing salmon from carefully selected farms that meet high environmental and production standards.

As part of a strategic commercial expansion in the country, we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead new client development initiatives and drive commercial growth plans, with a particular focus on the retail (GDO) and foodservice sectors. The company, medium-sized but with a global outlook, is looking for a professional who can support and guide its business growth.

Your New Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing relationships and developing business with national clients, with the goal of maximizing sales performance. They will ensure optimal execution of project development processes and collaborate closely with the Production, Purchasing and R&D departments to define strategies that provide 360° support to clients—from identifying needs to delivering final solutions. The Sales Manager will also contribute to budget planning, take ownership of their assigned targets, and analyze sales data and market trends within the relevant sector.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A degree in Economics or a related field
  • Proven experience in the food industry, specifically within retail (GDO) and foodservice channels

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain partnerships with clients and suppliers

  • Fluency in English is essential due to the international cooperation

Location: Varese (based in the office)
