Overview

As a
Consultant
within Bain & Company's
Private Equity Group (PEG)
in Italy, you will be a trusted advisor to leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies. You will help clients make high-impact investment decisions, drive portfolio value creation, and deliver high-impact due diligence and strategic assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workstreams within case teams focused on
    commercial due diligence, value creation planning
    and
    portfolio optimization
    .
  • Drive
    quantitative and qualitative analyses
    , market assessments, and financial modeling to support investment theses.
  • Translate analytical findings into
    clear, actionable recommendations
    for clients and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in
    client and internal meetings
    to discuss key insights and next steps.
  • Manage and mentor Associate Consultants, providing guidance and professional development support.
  • Collaborate with Bain's global PEG network to bring
    best practices and proprietary tools
    to every engagement.
  • Contribute to Bain's intellectual capital through
    practice-building initiatives
    and thought leadership in private equity and related industries.

Qualifications

  • Master's
    , degree and several years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    , with the ability to manage complex datasets, work on tight deadline and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent
    communication and presentation skills
    , both in English and Italian.
  • Ability to thrive in a
    fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative and high-performance environment
    .
  • Proven experience in
    private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting
    is a plus
