The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Milan investment team. You will support senior investors in sourcing, evaluating, and executing private equity investments across Italy and Southern Europe. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, portfolio strategy, and engagement with management teams of high-potential companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, and deal execution
- Conduct market research, sector analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform investment decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with management teams, advisors, and co-investors
- Support portfolio companies on operational and strategic initiatives
- Prepare investment materials and presentations for internal investment committees
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and sector thought leadership
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A or leveraged finance), or top-tier management consulting
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and commercial skills
- Interest in corporate strategy, operational improvement, and value creation
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
