Studies & experience:

MBA or Bachelor's program and degrees in engineering, business, finance and/or accountingExisting Associate with at least 3+ years of prior relevant ECM experience

Proficient in corporate financial analysis with ability to analyze balance sheets, income statement, and perform comparable analysisExpertise in all necessary software programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)Experience in working with Bloomberg data, Factset, EikonStrong presentation skills, both orally and in writing, confidence in abilitiesCapacity and desire to understand complex financial structuresAbility to excel in a fast-paced, pressure orientated environment and deliver under tight deadlinesSolid interest and understanding of financial markets

Mission\: 

Société Générale is making a significant investment in expanding its Equity Capital Markets team together with the recently closed integration of Bernstein's sales and trading and research division. The Equity Capital Markets team is a core business of SG's Investment Banking and broader capital markets capabilities and is responsible for the origination and execution of equity capital markets transactions, including equity linked transactions, for our corporate, financial institution and sponsor clients. The Italian ECM team is part of a fully integrated global ECM team and works closely with counterparts in EMEA, US and Asia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global team at a bank with a renowned IB and Equity franchise.

Tasks and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for working with:
Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents to originate and develop new ECM client relationships which will result in equity capital markets transactions The broader ECM team, sales, trading and others to execute ECM transaction for clientsPreparation of ECM knowledge specific client presentation with fine attention to content and detail as you will have an opportunity to participate at the highest level of capital markets transactions with premier global clients Detailed execution responsibilities for public and private equity capital markets transactions both domestically and abroad including client facing and managementSupporting origination and execution of transactions including preparation of marketing materials and coordinating the work with Equity Syndicate Equity Linked, Industry and Investment banking teamsDevelop relationships with colleagues abroad and among the Italian coverage and business lines teamsManage juniors to keep detailed records of client interactions and tracking, execution timelines, and required client follow upKeep abreast of market developments and providing relevant market updates to the team, including following global equity capital markets, new issues, investor sentiment and equity fund flows
