Investment Associate
to join the
spacetech
investment
practice
. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sharp, driven individual to gain hands-on experience across the entire venture capital lifecycle, from fund operations to deal origination and execution.

Primo Space

Primo Space, part of Primo Capital, is a Milan-based
venture capital fund focused on space technology
and the first one in continental Europe. The fund invests in seed and early stage venture deals in both upstream and downstream segments, including other technical and industrial verticals (robotics, AI, telco, cybersecurity, environment) related to space applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Support investment transactions from inception through closing;
• Proactively manage
  scouting
  and
  deal sourcing
  activities;
• Conduct evaluation of new investment opportunities, including
  business model analysis
  and
  competitor research;
• Review
  documentation and
  Data
  Rooms
  of potential targets, performing additional
  industry
  research
  and background checks;
• Building financial models
  for investment transactions;
• Creation of detailed
  information memorandums
  and synthetic
  financial reports;
• Supporting portfolio companies
  in their financial, technical and commercial needs while maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs and their teams;
• Work on
  investor reporting
  and support
  fundraising
  efforts;
• Keep up-to-date
  statistics
  and maintain
  records
  of meetings and processes;
• Represent
  the
  company
  at networking initiatives and conferences;

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in VC/PE funds
  ,
  accelerators
  ,
  high-growth companies
  or
  banking/consulting
  with experience in investment analysis, dealmaking and portfolio management
• STEM
  or
  Aerospace engineering
  background is a plus
• Passion for entrepreneurship, deep tech and/or the space industry
• Ability to identify and evaluate entrepreneurs, business models and companies
• Financial savviness, fluency with business analysis metrics and ability to process them with AI tools
• Fluency in
  Italian
  (100%) and
  English
  (100%), oral and written
• Extremely fast learner with high fluid intelligence
• High interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Flexibility with respect to tasks and ability to work independently with a goal-oriented approach
• High ambition with low ego
