Senior Account Manager, Vascular Peripheral Interventions

Location: based in either Piemonte, Western Liguria or South of Lombardy, on a remote working schedule | Assigned Territory: Piemonte, Western Liguria and Val D'Aosta.

About the role:
We are looking for a new Account Manager with excellent organizational and self-management skills to collaborate with the Vascular team and the Regional Sales Manager, in achieving the commercial objectives of the designated geographical area they will represent: Piemonte, Liguria and Val D'Aosta.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Develop as professional account manager by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques fundamentals. Able to tackle routine issues, limited knowledge in medical device industry (Boston Scientific and competitors).
- Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
- Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under close supervision & guidance of the Manager.
- Follow instructions of Manager in order to plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according to divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
- Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the operating room.
- Begin establishing business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
- Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- Analyse and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools
- To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
- Upon request, may participate in project teams.
What are we looking for in you?
- Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or Economics academic studies background.
- At least 5 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales; background and knowledge in vascular products will be highly evaluated.
- Experience supporting procedures in the operating room will be valuable.
- Based in either Piemonte, Western Liguria or South of Lombardy.
- Experience in Vascular, Cardiovascular or Peripheral Intervention products & procedures is a nice-to-have.
- Local Customers & market knowledge.
- Experience preparing tenders & relationship with purchase centers and other hospital stakeholders.
- Good level in English.
- Motivation and positive attitude.
- Availability for travel in area of responsibility and nationally when necessary.
