THE MISSION:
As a First-level Support and Integration Specialist, you will play a key role within the support and integration team. You will be responsible for ensuring that integrations with our merchants and partners run smoothly, quickly, and with the highest quality, while also managing post-sales activities (e.g., addendums, merchant support, brand directory, etc.).
You will support merchants during and after the integration of Scalapay into their e-commerce platforms, acting as the main point of contact for technical and operational matters and ensuring a smooth and successful experience.
You will collaborate with the Sales, Account, and Tech teams to ensure that each project is completed on time and meets the highest quality standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work closely with the tech team to address and resolve more complex technical needs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, joining merchant presentations and providing support throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with the account team to support upselling initiatives.
- Perform all activities required to onboard new merchants.
- Communicate with merchants and partners, both via phone and email.
- Provide first-level support for any technical issues related to integrations.
- Run ad-hoc reports on merchant performance.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
YOU'LL BE GREAT FOR THE ROLE IF:
- A degree in business, engineering or computer science.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in French or Spanish (or both) is a strong advantage. (Nice to have)
- Good understanding of technical documentation and APIs.
- Familiarity with tech tools (jira, AWS, Database Query interfaces, Postman, Datadog)
- An interest in the ecommerce and payment industry.
- 3 or 4 years working in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Exposure to startup or scale-up environments.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Effective communications skills, comfortable working in teams and collaborating with colleagues from different departments
- We value individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, as this role offers growth opportunities
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial, along with a positive attitude and a solutions-oriented mindset to overcome challenges.
