automotive - Connectivity Functional Owner

In the scope of an ongoing automotive project for a major German OEM customer, we are looking for
Functional Owners
to join our team, with a special focus on
Connectivity
functionalities.

He/She will be responsible for system requirement management, maintenance and adaptation of an existing Connectivity System into a new vehicle platform for a Premium Customer.

Responsibilities

  • support
    system engineering
    activities, including requirements management - analyze Requirements, Functional Specifications against the target HW
  • Understand the E/E car architecture to accommodate requests for the connectivity of the infotainment system (V2V and V2I)
  • Establish and maintain an overview of the customer's entire automotive cloud ecosystem
  • Support the development of advanced
    connectivity
    features and their documentation
  • Support the detection and identification of
    issues
    , providing a first
    analysis
    based on test bench activities
  • Coordination with other departments, steering the issues-fixing process by talking to the different stakeholders
  • Interface with customers on system
    architecture
    through workshops and design meetings

Qualifications

  • Min
    2 year of working experience in Automotive Field
    (focus on connectivity units and connected functions).
  • Knowledge of Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), with previous experience in test execution at the bench.
  • Knowledge of common
    vehicle bus interfaces
    (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc).
  • Knowledge of Automotive Architectures, with focus on connectivity and Network related topics
  • Knowledge of Automotive Backend Structures and communication methods
  • Previous knowledge of automotive processes and tools for requirement management (e.g. Doors and Jira) is a plus.
  • Experience in Embedded Products, Media Infotainment, Audio, VR, Bluetooth, CAN
  • Connectivity, HMI Tuner, Navigation or any other automotive related features.
  • Experience in the area test execution-management.
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle such as Systems engineering,

integration and testing in related domains.

  • Knowledge and Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and integrating Backend Services.
  • Knowledge of Change Management flow.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Framework (mainly, Jira and Confluence)
  • Ability to manage complex problems and propose solutions.

Location

The job will be partially performed in Turin, with the possibility of working from home.
