Legal Entity & Tax Senior Expert

About the role

The Legal Entity & Tax Senior Expert will play a pivotal role within the Finance Manufacturing Team, serving as a support to the manufacturing site. This position is instrumental in supporting both the site's key stakeholders and the Finance Director in achieving the company's financial objectives and long-term strategic goals.

In this role, the Legal Entity & Tax Senior Expert will:

• Work closely with accounting team on all relevant accounting and tax related topics.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and tax relevant deadlines.
• Manage with external consultants all relevant topics with regards to VAT and tax declarations.
• Take ownership of regular liquidations and payments with regards to local legal entity

Key responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expert knowledge and ownership in key responsibilities below:
•  Preparation of Tax Pack and submission
• Cash tax forecasting
• Intrastat reporting
• Vat model verification Reconciliation of VAT registers
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Local banking support
• Manage relations with national authorities

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar corporate/accounting/tax roles ACCA/ CIMA Qualified preferred.
• University degree in business/finance/engineering.
• Prior supply chain experience beneficial.
• Solid knowledge of cost accounting in SAP environment, consolidation.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to cope with various stakeholders. Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Italy and English.
