Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new client acquisition while managing a portfolio of existing affiliates within the real estate market to maximise revenue and build long-term relationships. This is a client-facing, travel-based sales role covering Northern Italy, requiring regular in-person meetings with affiliates and prospective clients.

A strong focus on nurturing affiliate relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and expanding GC Partners' target client base is essential.

Working closely with stakeholders, the BDM will play a key role in meeting sales targets and ensuring affiliates and clients receive excellent service. The successful candidate will embody GC Partners' core values and adopt a client-centric approach in all interactions.

Person Specification

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in Real Estate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a portfolio of clients or affiliates effectively.
  • A target-driven mindset, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs.

Duties/Responsibilities

Portfolio Management:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of affiliate clients, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor affiliate performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth and revenue maximisation.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with affiliates, addressing any concerns and fostering trust.
  • Ensure timely and efficient responses to affiliate needs and inquiries, strengthening long-term relationships.

Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and engage with potential new clients within the target market, expanding GC Partners' affiliate network.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects to meet individual sales targets.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase GC Partners' services and offerings, tailoring solutions to client needs.

Sales Execution:

  • Work towards achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client acquisition, affiliate performance, and revenue generation.
  • Manage the sales cycle for both new and existing clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration.
  • Promote GC Partners' unique selling propositions to meet the specific needs of affiliates and clients.

Market Engagement:

  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity within the affiliate and target client base.
  • Identify potential opportunities for new partnerships within assigned sectors or geographic regions.
  • Represent GC Partners at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager and other internal teams to share insights and support broader business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, affiliate performance, and pipeline activity in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates on portfolio management and sales performance to the Senior Business Development Manager.

Qualification & Experience

Experience:

  • 2+ years' proven success in a Real Estate business development role.
