Nous Srl is expanding and is looking for a
Head of Operations & Quality

to join the team and support the company's next phase of growth.

The Head of Operations & Quality will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities, including supply chain management, production processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. The role is central to ensuring ingredient standardization, scalability, and compliance across European and international markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the supply chain, including sourcing of raw materials and semi-finished products
  • Oversee and monitor production processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and standardization of functional ingredients
  • Lead quality management systems and ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Coordinate regulatory aspects related to ingredients and products in EU and US markets
  • Support the expansion of suppliers and manufacturing partners, both current and new
  • Act as a key internal reference for operations, quality, and regulatory topics

Minimum requirements

  • 3 years of experience in the functional ingredients / nutraceutical sector, preferably in a European or international context
  • Solid understanding of EU and US regulatory frameworks related to food ingredients and nutraceuticals
  • Proven experience in quality control and process standardization
  • Strong knowledge of raw material and semi-finished product sourcing
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple operational priorities


What we offer

  • Full-time contract
  • Gross annual salary (RAL): €40,000–€50,000
  • Variable bonus (MBO): up to 30% of RAL, based on objectives
  • Equity Stock Option Plan (ESOP): 1–2%, depending on profile and seniority
