Job description
Mission
At Digital Pills, we design advanced analytics platforms and data-driven solutions that transform how organizations understand and use data.
As an Analytics Engineer Intern, you will work in the Tech Team focusing on Business Intelligence, semantic data modeling and digital analytics. You will contribute to the design of reporting layers, KPI definitions and dashboards, and to the implementation and validation of tracking systems used to collect high‑quality data.
This role is ideal for technically‑oriented profiles interested in growing at the intersection of analytics engineering, business intelligence and digital tracking, with strong exposure to real‑world data platforms and analytics projects.
Main activities include:
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI tools
- Design and validate semantic data models and KPI layers
- Support the definition and validation of business metrics
- Work on digital analytics and tracking projects (GA4, event‑based tracking, data quality)
- Validate data consistency and correctness across reporting layers
- Collaborate with consultants and analysts to translate business requirements into analytics solutions
Eudcation & experience
Graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields or equivalent practical experience:
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
Management Engineering (data / IT track)
Strong interest in data, analytics and business intelligence
- Solid analytical and logical thinking skills
Hard Skills (essential)
- SQL and Data Foundations: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations and filtering. Ability to reason about data granularity, metrics and consistency.
- Business Intelligence: Familiarity with BI concepts and reporting practices. Experience or academic exposure to building dashboards and reports using Power BI (preferred) or equivalent tools.
- Data Modeling Fundamentals: Understanding of basic dimensional modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema) and interest in building semantic layers for analytics.
- Data Quality & Validation: Ability to validate data correctness, detect inconsistencies and reason about metric definitions and data reliability.

- Attention to detail. Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
- Curiosity and learning attitude. Strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies and analytics practices.

- Communication. Able to clearly explain data, metrics and results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Skills (desirable)
- Digital Analytics & Tracking: Interest or basic experience with GA4, event‑based tracking, tagging systems and data collection pipelines.
- Analytics Engineering Practices: Interest in semantic layers, transformation logic and analytics engineering methodologies.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation tasks.
- Data Platforms: Basic familiarity with data warehouses or cloud analytics platforms.
- Business Understanding: Interest in understanding business processes and translating business requirements into analytics solutions.
