Blox aims to be a physical innovation hub and co-work space in downtown Turin, Italy with the aim to increase Bitcoin awareness and to create a vibrant workspace for teams and founders.

Blox is scheduled to open in Q1 2026.

About the position

We're looking for an Operations Manager to support the launch and growth of our new hub, taking a leading role in communication, events and day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, adaptable position that begins with pre-launch planning and evolves into managing the hub's ongoing activities, including marketing, community engagement, and general operations. We're looking for someone versatile, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities across different areas of the hub.

Core responsibilities

  • Campaign creation:
    Develop, lead, and execute marketing campaigns to increase hub traffic by promoting events, activities, and membership benefits.
  • Content management:
    Create and manage engaging content for social media and other communication channels that aligns with the hub's brand identity.
  • Events planning
    : Plan, coordinate, and host events, workshops, and meetups to attract visitors, and strengthen the community.
  • Branding and positioning
    : Ensure brand consistency across all visual assets, digital channels, and public materials
  • PR
    : Build and maintain a strong local and international PR network
  • Market research
    : Conduct in-depth research into user behaviors, needs, and barriers to entry in Bitcoin adoption.
  • Feedback gathering and improvement:
    Regularly gather and analyze feedback from community members to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall experience.

Support activities (with the hub manager)

  • Welcoming and onboarding:
    Be the first point of contact - greet visitors, support their experience and membership journey, and onboard new members to the hub's policies and resources.
  • Reception & community support
    : Run the welcome desk, assist with inquiries, and help create a friendly, professional atmosphere.
  • Maintenance:
    Open, manage, and close the hub, ensuring the space is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Social media

: Help manage and grow social media presence with high-quality, engaging content
- Stakeholder relationships:
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including universities, PR teams, and other organizations, to promote the hub's vision

Motivation

  • Curious and fast learner - existing knowledge of Bitcoin is preferred, but strong motivation to learn is equally valued
  • Eager to contribute to a growing ecosystem and community-driven environment

Skills and capabilities

  • Proficiency in Italian and English is required
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to manage diverse tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with marketing and automation tools.
  • Strong eye for branding and visual communication.
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications or event coordination, ideally in, tech, or innovation environments is a plus
