We are seeking a Digital Analytics Engineer to join our fast-growing Tech team.

You will sit at the intersection of marketing, technology, and data, owning and evolving the digital tracking and analytics infrastructure that supports our ecommerce and retail strategy across a portfolio of 20+ luxury, fashion, and design brands.

In this role, you will work closely with Marketing, Tech, and other teams to ensure reliable data collection, high-quality analytics, and actionable insights across digital channels. You will have hands-on ownership of tracking, analytics implementations, and marketing data models, operating in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with the Tech and Marketing team to support digital and retail strategy through data and technology.

  • Own and manage the digital tracking infrastructure, with a strong focus on Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 implementations.

  • Design, maintain, and optimize data models via SQL, with a focus on marketing, ecommerce, and CRM data.

  • Act as product owner for the SEO technical infrastructure, collaborating with developers and agencies.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across tracking and analytics systems.

  • Translate business and marketing needs into technical solutions and measurement frameworks.

  • Collaborate with developers, Tech colleagues, and external partners to guarantee the effectiveness of tracking and analytics setups.

  • Document tracking specifications, data models, and analytics processes to support knowledge sharing and scalability.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in digital analytics, tracking, and technical marketing in an ecommerce context.

  • Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4).

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and modeling marketing and CRM data.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect data to business outcomes.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English. Italian is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript or other web development languages.

  • Experience with Python or other programming languages.

  • Experience with performance marketing (e.g. paid media tracking, campaign optimization).

  • Personal projects or professional experiences you are proud to showcase.

  • Familiarity with broader Martech and technical marketing concepts (e.g. consent management, server-side tracking).
