CONTRACT Engineer Junior

We are currently seeking a Contract Engineer Junior reporting directly to Head of Contract Management to join our Legal & Contracts team based in Rome, Italy.

About the mission we offer you:

The Contract Engineer's duties and responsibilities are to provide appropriate support and guidance to the Project Manager and leadership within the Project team in the management and administration of the contract, consistently with the relevant policies, standards and processes.

Main accountabilites of the Contract Engineer Junior are:

• Prepares and consolidates analysis of contract conditions, contract issues, client needs, as well as contractual risks and opportunities.
• Liaise and obtain when required legal expertise from the Legal Team (corporate, compliance, litigation, general legal advice) and with other functions (treasury, tax, insurance, etc.) with the purpose of providing to the Project a comprehensive set of legal and contractual services.
• Initiate and coordinate the preparation, negotiation and settlement of change orders and claims (EOTs, Acceleration, delays, etc)
• Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of contractual obligations

About you:

• Qualifications: Engineering Master Degree. Up to 3 years' experience, preferably in large Oil & Gas or Infrastructure EPC with an international company.
• Languages: Effective written and verbal communication in English is a must

• Hands-on knowledge in basic schedule analysis methodologies 
• Hands-on knowledge in basic cost control analysis methodologies
• Available to travel in Italy and abroad for long period
