Our 60 acre campus, located only 30 minutes outside Venice, is starting a new adventure for young athletes. The H-FARM Boarding Team seeks a dynamic and proactive individual to implement and expand programs that support the growth of our students-athletes in all the aspects that involve them in their daily life.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educator who has a fine understanding of adolescence and the inner workings of running a boarding program. This person will have ownership of entire programs to entertain and support students-athletes in their daily needs and will work with the H-FARM Boarding team in executing enriching experiences.

Main Responsabilities

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, with the following requirements: 

Daily work shift in the afternoon and night (about 4-11pm)3/4 nights on duty (passive supervision), sleeping in a separate private room, being on call in case of emergency.Weekly shifts Evolve Existing Learning and Development Programming (20%)Create training courses for adolescent students with competence and professionalism (inclusion, specific issues related to adolescence, reflection courses on cultural and current affairs)Develop educational projects specifically designed for students-athletes Student Supervision (80%)Provide a sympathetic presence in the House; to liaise closely with Head of Boarding and other staff concerning the progress and welfare of studentsBuild positive, professional relationships with parents, agents and guardiansProvide relevant staff with information about individual students as necessarySupport and lead children and young people between 14 and 19 years old during afternoon activities (homework, educational activities, recreational moments) but also on weekends, outside strictly school timesTake care of the ordinary and extraordinary needs of the students who live in our boarding (study, well-being, safety, practical aspects of hospitality, health, cleanliness)Supervision and vigilance during breaks (snacks and dinners, evenings but also some nights during the week) interacting with young boarders and knowing how to intervene competently in relationshipsCoordinate and collaborate with the whole team in a shared co-responsibility based on educational passionManage group dynamics together with relational and communication skills Qualifications3-5 years of professional experience related to higher education, coaching, international schools, psychology, and/or counsellingBachelor's degree required, with preferred studies in education and pedagogyPrevious experience working with children aged 12-18 years oldWorking experience abroad or at an international company preferredNative Arabic speaker with at least a B2 knowledge of English (knowledge of Italian is well appreciated)Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environmentA style of on-the-go problem solvingProject management skillsAttention to detailPassion for learning and continuous improvementAccountable to expectations and deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, along with a sense of humour  Driver's licenceImmaculate criminal record Benefits
