Product Manager – Mini Apps

6 ore fa

Milano, Lombardia, Italia REBELL AG A tempo pieno

What if you could bring Europe's merchants into the future of commerce?

Rebell is building something Europe has never had before: a Super App. Think of it as the one app that brings everyone together — a single gateway where people can shop, pay, book, connect, and manage their daily lives, without switching between dozens of apps.

In Asia, super apps like Alipay and WeChat have already transformed the way hundreds of millions of people live and interact. Now, for the first time, Europe is about to experience its own super app.

This is not a concept. Rebell is already funded and staffed with leaders from Alipay, Qonto, Scalapay, and Glovo, preparing for a launch in 2026.

We are now hiring a
Product Manager – Mini Apps
, a strategic role at the heart of our platform, responsible for defining and scaling the
mini-app ecosystem
inside Rebell.

Mini-apps are the backbone of a super app, they allow merchants, partners, and service providers to build native-like experiences inside Rebell.

You will ensure that
mini-apps are useful, adopted, scalable, and loved
by users, merchants, and partners.

Your role

You will define how third-party services and partners build inside Rebell. You will own the
Mini-Apps Platform roadmap
, including:

  • Mini-app framework & developer experience
  • APIs, SDKs, and tooling for partners and merchants
  • Governance, quality standards, and performance
  • Discovery, navigation, and usage of mini-apps by end users

You'll work closely with internal product leaders (Payments, Marketing Services,...) to ensure seamless integration and a coherent user experience.

Your responsibilities

  1. Strategic product ownership

  2. Define the
    vision and roadmap
    for Rebell's mini-apps ecosystem.

  3. Decide
what should be built as mini-apps vs native features
    .
  4. Ensure mini-apps support Rebell's business, growth, and monetization strategy.
  5. Act as the internal reference for all things
    platform & mini-apps
    .

  6. Product discovery & platform design

  7. Work with partners, merchants, and internal teams to understand their needs and constraints.

  8. Translate use cases into
clear platform capabilities and product requirements
    .
  9. Balance flexibility for partners with simplicity, security, and performance for users.

  10. Product delivery & scaling

  11. Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver a
    robust, scalable mini-app platform
    .

  12. Define success metrics: adoption, usage, performance, retention.
  13. Iterate quickly based on real usage and feedback from developers and end users.

  14. Cross-functional collaboration

  15. Partner with Payments, Marketing Services, Growth, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams.

  16. Ensure mini-apps comply with European and Italian regulatory constraints.
  17. Play a key role in the
    Italian launch
, then help scale the platform across Europe.

About you

  • 8+ years of experience in
    Product Management / Product Strategy
    , ideally on
    platform, API, or B2B2C products
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    ecosystem products
(marketplaces, platforms, developer tools, mini-apps, plugins, APIs).
  • Comfortable designing products used by
    partners & developers
    , not only end users.
  • Strong strategic thinking, but hands-on and execution-driven.
  • Experience working in complex environments (regulated industries are a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of the Italian ecosystem
and fluent understanding of European market dynamics.
  • Bilingual Italian & fluent English
    .
