Main tasks and responsibilities
- Accomplishment of the assigned tasks, realize on schedule and on budget all the requirements related to the projects and tasks,
- Ensure sound engineering practices, national/international rules, and customer's technical specification appliance.
- Design optimizing costs, time, quality, and operability.
- Focus on safety during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and operation.
- Attention to details and their feasibility,
- Liaise with Proposal, Sales, Operation and Services to analyse problems, generating corrective actions to improve product performance,
- Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products,
- Design, implement and improve electrical equipment, components, products, and industrial systems.
- Support manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements,
- Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements,
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
- Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
- Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
- Plan layout of electric power transformation, distribution lines and stations.
- Assist in developing research and programs for new equipment and major repairs.
- Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
- Design the electrical schemes.
- Support Line Manager:
- in establishing work instructions and technical manuals, in compliance with provided guidelines.
- in providing engineering support for plant activities.
