We are looking for a Woman Small Leathergoods Collection Merchandiser- Maternity Cover to be hired for a maternity leave substitution based in Milan.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the definition of the collection strategy for SLG and Belts.
  • Conduct market trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and identify key issues and opportunities.
  • Strategically manage collection structures in terms of margin, price positioning, and assortment across markets.
  • Coordinate closely with the Design team to support proper collection development and sample launches.
  • Monitor collection timelines and collaborate with Product Development and Costing departments to ensure cost targets and margin objectives are met.
  • Create retail price lists in EUR and local currencies.
  • Prepare sales campaign materials: collection presentations, exit lists, sales books, technical briefings, and ad hoc lists for 360° shoots.
  • Analyze sell-in (Wholesale & Retail) and sell-out (Retail only) performance across global markets.
  • Interface with Production to ensure minimum production quantities post-sales campaigns.
  • Execute and amplify cross-category Brand Plans to maximize opportunities and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Develop training materials for internal academies and support e-commerce activities (online descriptions, image checks).

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar roles
  • Passion and sensitivity for luxury products;
  • Fluent in English and Italian;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, flexibility and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Team player and good relational skills.
