SodaStream is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and service oriented Accounting Operations Associate Accountant, who enjoys challenges and will proactively contribute to our growing team. The Financial Accountant is an all-round financial position aimed at providing financial insights by creating financial analyses and reports. This position is part of a close team and in our dynamic organization a lot of energy and a can-do attitude will bring you success

Responsibilities
What will you do? As as Accounting Operations Associate Accountant at SodaStream, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely together with the full finance team on the month-end close, ensuring reporting deadlines are met for all countries in scope

  • Give support to the Italian market's financial administration and administrative procedures, within the set procedures and guidelines

  • Bank processing

  • Accounts Receivables

  • Accounts Payables

  • The bookkeeping, balance sheet and control account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and preparing / posting of journals

  • Cooperating with the Finance team on executing activities related to external audits, fiscal reporting (VAT/Intrastat) and compliancy topic
  • Takes active part in ad hoc activities, e.g. process improvement projects

Qualifications
Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or accounting diploma
  • At least 2/3 years' experience in the job within structured companies
  • Knowledge of the MS Office Package (especially in MS Excel) and integrated management systems
  • Strong knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Experience with ERP systems is desired, experience with NetSuite is an advantage
  • Experience in TM1 is an advantage
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and ITA GAAP principles
  • English fluency is mandatory
