Structured Equity and Credit Financing is a Milan-based trading team responsible for originating, pricing, structuring and risk managing complex financing solutions across a wide range of products and asset classes. In particular, the team is specialized in tailored strategic equity and financing transactions, such as Margin Loans, Lombard Loans, and volatility and linear derivatives-based solutions. The team is also responsible for the fund financing business.
What you'll be doingThe candidate is required to assist the team in several aspects of their activity:
- Contribute to presentations and memos on risk, business and regulatory themes
- Assist in developing proprietary trading tools, conducting quantitative analysis and monitoring market trends
- Assist on workstreams related to complex trasactions across equity derivatives & structured products, secured financing, and strategic equity solutions
- Support and execute launch of new products and business initiatives
Ideal qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any related field
- No previous experience required
- Knowledge of and interest in financial markets, derivatives, and financing products
- Good knowledge of a programming language such as Python, VBA, or SQL is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and good communication skills
- Fluent in English, German is a strong plus
