CMK is looking for a senior level Pure Cloud Block Store Engineer to support one of our enterprise customers in Turin. This role requires a highly experienced cloud professional who can serve as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with infrastructure and networking teams to deploy and operationalize cloud based block storage solutions in Microsoft Azure.
Scope of Work
- Deploy and configure a Cloud Block Store instance within Microsoft Azure
- Support a primarily Azure based cloud environment, with limited exposure to GCP
- Partner closely with the customer's infrastructure and networking teams
- Provide hands on engineering support along with architectural guidance
Primary Skillset
- Strong cloud native expertise within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Deep hands on experience with Azure infrastructure and storage services
- Strong understanding of block storage architectures in cloud environments
- Solid networking background with the ability to collaborate closely with network teams
- Experience across compute, networking, VPC concepts, virtual machines, Kubernetes, file and block storage
- Experience with Pure Storage technologies is a strong nice to have
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Lead deployment and configuration of Cloud Block Store in Azure
- Work closely with networking teams to ensure proper integration and performance
- Support Kubernetes and VM based workloads consuming block storage
- Provide senior level technical guidance and best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders during deployment and stabilization
- Support transition to steady state operations and remote support model
Language Requirements
- Native Italian required
- English is secondary
- All written technical documentation must be produced in Italian
Seniority Level
- Senior level engineer with proven enterprise cloud experience
- Comfortable working independently and leading technical discussions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and influence
