IT Governance, Risk

As IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Manager at Allianz, you play a key role in ensuring that our IT operations run securely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards. You'll design, oversee, and continuously enhance governance and risk management processes that help protect our organization and enable innovation. Your Responsibilities

• Ensuring adherence to IT management policies and processes established by the Head of IT Strategy and Governance.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for handling deviation requests and managing escalations related to non-compliance.
• Proactively aligning IT management policies and processes with relevant regulations, evolving standards, while effectively resolving internal audit findings.
• Collaborating with the Head of IT Risk Management to continuously improve IT Risk and Controls Framework, ensuring its ongoing effectiveness and robustness.
• Managing relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other third parties.
• Coordinating and overseeing the allocation and execution of tasks among IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analysts to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintaining SOPs (standard operating procedures) relevant to the IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Management function and driving their efficiency through the simplification and automation.
• Maintaining IT Governance compliance dashboard.

Your Profile

You are an experienced IT governance professional with over 10 years in IT management or CIO advisory roles, ideally within the financial sector. You bring practitioner-level knowledge of COBIT 5, a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks such as DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), GDPR, and ISO/IEC 27001, and proven expertise in developing and implementing IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

You combine a strategic mindset with analytical strength, stakeholder management skills, and a collaborative leadership style built on trust and entrepreneurship. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or Mathematics, and possess ISACA certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or CGEIT. Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
