in Milan, we are looking for a
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
with
Kubernetes expertise
to join a technically focused infrastructure team.

Work mode
: Hybrid model, 2 days per week at the office in Milan

You will be part of a team responsible for th
e Cloud Infrastructure layer
– managing and evolving Kubernetes environments acros
s Google Cloud
(main) an
d Azure
(secondary)
platforms. The role focuses heavily o
n Kubernetes infrastructure engineering, automation,
and
operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and evolve
    Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Engineer and implement new platform features to improve
    performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Migrate and deliver cloud infrastructure using
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    and
    Configuration as Code
    (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within the cloud perimeter; perform
    root cause analysis
    and implement permanent fixes
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to
    application teams
    being onboarded to cloud environments
  • Develop internal best practices and architecture for new cloud services, ensuring compliance with
    security and operational guidelines
  • Drive
    automation
    across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and API management areas to enable
    self-service infrastructure capabilities
  • Contribute to on-call support as part of the team's shared operational responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Degree in
    IT, Computer Science
    , or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong, hands-on experience administering Kubernetes
    in production environments
  • Solid background in public cloud platforms
    (Google Cloud preferred; Azure beneficial)
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible
    , and other automation tools
  • Proactive, self-driven engineer
    with strong problem-solving skills and a "hands-on keyboard" approach
  • Excellent
    communication and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working in an
    international, technical team environment
  • Fluent English
    required
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
