Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations and Growth Manager, based in La Spezia.

The successful candidate will organize and oversee daily operations, supervise the maritime and sales teams, optimize processes, and lead growth initiatives aligned with the Company's strategy.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of HopHop Boat's daily operations,
putting customers at the center

of each decision, and in leading the implementation of the
Company's growth strategy

with the support of the teams.

Working side by side with the Founders' team, the successful candidate will directly contribute to
unlocking HopHop Boat's full potential
.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations: coordinate activities across our three boarding points; oversee scheduling and coordination between land and sea teams; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate direct sales across multiple sales points (physical and online); ensure proper presence and availability of our services across indirect (online and offline) sales channels; harmonize the different distribution channels.
• Manage relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and partner hospitality structures in the area, maximizing penetration of our services and generating opportunities for sales growth.
• Identify and implement opportunities for sales growth, territorial expansion, and margin improvement, in line with Company strategy and in direct collaboration with the Leadership Team.
• Manage all sales channels and customer relationships, both online and offline, acting directly and leading the sales team.
• Maintain and expand the commercial network of partners and clients (B2B and B2C).
• Manage and organize the operations of both land staff (sales/promoters) and sea staff (local skippers).
• Develop new product lines leveraging HopHop's assets.
• Represent the Brand at events, trade fairs, meetings, and workshops.
• Supervise and redirect the performance of online and offline marketing campaigns.
• Keep the set of quantitative and qualitative KPIs updated to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business performance.
• Inspire others by consistently embodying the Brand's values.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven experience in similar roles in tour operators or complex travel agencies, preferably within the cruise sector ecosystem.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and a track record in business development or in defining and implementing growth strategies.
• Excellent command of English and preferably French or another foreign language.
• Strong numerical orientation and the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics tools to evaluate data and recommend actionable insights.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and online booking management systems.
• Ability to work in a team, handle stress, and organize work independently.
• Strong customer orientation, with solid relationship-management and problem-solving abilities.
• A genuine passion for the sea and for the challenges it brings every day.
