Full Stack Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer ) in Latin America.

In this role, you will contribute to the evolution and scaling of a digital platform used by diverse international clients. You will work autonomously while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, designing and implementing robust, high-performance solutions. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, from modern frontend frameworks to advanced backend data processing and cloud infrastructure. You will have ownership of complex technical challenges, shaping APIs, optimizing databases, and contributing to DevOps best practices. Working remotely within Latin America, you will help deliver impactful digital experiences that combine technical excellence and business value.

• Accountabilities
• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, , JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, optimize, and query PostgreSQL databases at an advanced level, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Translate business requirements into efficient and maintainable technical solutions.
• Process and manipulate data with Spark, Databricks notebooks, and ETL pipelines.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and technical leads to design scalable and robust solutions.
• Deploy and manage applications using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, and serverless infrastructure (SST).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities proactively.
• Requirements
• Proven experience as a JavaScript and TypeScript developer with strong knowledge of
• Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL expertise (queries, optimization, stored procedures) without relying on ORMs.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and frontend integration.
• Proficiency in React and frontend build tools; experience with CSS/Tailwind CSS styling.
• Understanding of language internals and low-level concepts in JS/TS.
• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Clear and concise communication of technical concepts.
• Nice-to-haves: experience with Spark, Databricks, ETL pipelines, AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS), SST serverless deployments, and CI/CD/DevOps workflows.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
