As a Steam Turbine and Axial Expander Cross Section and Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for :

• Supporting the conceptual design of steam turbine and axial expanders to enable customer technical proposal.

• Leading the design of new steam turbine and axial expander machines into the design system, be responsible of the integration of all components selected and designed to full fill customer specification.

• Implementing all the possible turbine configurations in the design system to be properly and effectively designed and assessed according to internal processes.

• Defining required 3D models, drafting and Bill of material by managing external resources.

• Executing specific design or analysis tasks on Customer or New Product Development projects using sound engineering principles and specific process procedure.

• Supporting supply chain during execution phase.

• Supporting commissioning phase to manage site erection and machines start up.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience gained working in Engineering/Technology and/or additional experience in Mechanical Components.

• candidates should have strong experience in Steam Turbine or Gas Turbine or Rotating Equipment with Design experience

• Be a clear thinker:  Make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information.

• Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrix environment.

• Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Be fluent both in English and Italian and hold an EU work permit
