Role and responsibilities

We are searching for a Boomi Integration Platform Developer that will be supporting Boomi Platform implementation projects remotely for clients based mainly in Italy or in Europe.

Your core duties will include, but are not limited to

  • Working closely with Project Managers to design and develop integration solutions
  • Evaluating customer applications to assess integration methodology and approach
  • Being a product expert of Boomi applications including the AtomSphere integration platform and learning other parts of the Boomi platform
  • Recommending best practices for implementing, managing, and governing integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform
  • Defining and promoting the adoption of best practices of Boomi's products across the internal and external user community
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, application and data integration patterns including JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases
  • Practical experience implementing services-oriented architecture design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP
  • General knowledge of common business systems (ERP, CRM, ..) and processes (lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.)
  • Italian speaking , fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is a plus

Required Skills

  • 2+ years experience developing on Boomi
  • Development scripting skills with Java, Groovy, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of other Middleware platform will be a plus (SAP Integration Suite, SAP Process Orchestrator, Mulesoft
  • Experience in small to large size implementations, working with geographically distributed teams
  • Background in both agile scrum or Kanban methodologies
  • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Nice to have: Boomi Certified Developer
