This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a .NET Engineer in Latin America.

We are seeking a skilled .NET Engineer to join a fully remote Latin American team and contribute to the development of modern, scalable, and highly available software platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, design microservices-based architectures, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will guide junior engineers, participate in architectural decisions, and ensure high standards of code quality and reliability. You will have the chance to work with public cloud services such as AWS or Azure while staying at the forefront of modern development practices. Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement scalable, flexible, and highly available platform architectures aligned with business objectives.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and document modernized software platforms.
  • Build and test new ideas using a fail-fast methodology to quickly assess and pivot as needed.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in developing and maintaining microservices-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, specifications, and integration points.
  • Utilize public cloud services (AWS, Azure) to optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring component reliability and uptime.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to microservices and cloud computing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with .NET and C#.
  • 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with international clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to mentor others.
  • Familiarity with scalable software design, cloud computing best practices, and modern development methodologies.
