Our architecturally inspiring galleries offer a seamlessly integrated hospitality experience, and we are building the world's first consumer-facing interior design, architecture and landscape architecture services platform inside our Galleries, further amplifying the brand.
As part of the Gallery team, you will be a part of this movement.
RH is seeking a Gallery Leader to lead and develop associates across all functions of the business. The Leader is expected to deliver first-class service internally and externally by removing obstacles, providing support, and ensuring that teams feel empowered to "do the right thing". This role will demonstrate a passion for design and home furnishings and will lead a team focused on strategy and execution.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Boldly coach, lead and develop teams to promote a positive and dynamic environment that drive sales and control of bottom-line expenses
- Attract the right talent at all levels for our ever-changing business and retain talent who uphold the same personal and professional standards
- Represent the RH brand through polished communication, personal appearance and professionalism through the lens of refined taste with a discerning eye for luxury
- Learn and communicate the RH design ethos and product assortment
- Address all human resources concerns quickly, in partnership with Field Leadership and the People Team
- Eagerly embrace change and deliver top results with a positive attitude no matter what the obstacle
- Monitor, communicate and analyze the business and determine strategies to achieve extraordinary results
- Support, promote and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, Gallery cash controls, inventory management and internal audits
- Support, implement, provide follow-up and feedback for all initiatives and rollouts as the business shifts and changes
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years leadership experience in high-end furnishings, design showrooms, luxury retail or similar field
- Interior design experience preferred
- Proven experience fostering a positive and healthy work environment, where associates are empowered to do their best
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High energy and results-driven
- Adept at gaining insights from mistakes and seeking constructive feedback from colleagues or leaders to improve results
- Smart, creative and has a point of view
OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 15 kgs while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room and office
- Prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
