Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to take the next step in their career and join our Finance team in the heart of Rome. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all accounting processes and procedures are completed efficiently and accurately, adding significant value to our local business operations.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Manage active and passive invoicing processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries (First Note).
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure total financial accuracy.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Assist with day-to-day operations, including credit control and revenue reports.
• Manage the accounts receivable and payable cycles.

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable role.
• Fluency in both Italian and English.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Nice to have: Experience in cost controlling, budgeting, and forecasting.
