Your RoleWe are looking for a Data Platform Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing modern data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your work will enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights across the organization. The role focuses on building near real-time data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability, and enabling advanced reporting and analytics through robust data modeling.
Your Impact- Contribute to the continuous evolution and innovation of the data platform by implementing and experimenting with Google Cloud technologies.
- Design and develop data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing.
- Implement robust data models and architectures to support analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring consistency, quality, and security.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science and Business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support data governance, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering and data platform development.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform components: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Datastream, Airflow, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, Dataform.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience in data modeling and designing architectures for reporting and analytics.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and related technologies (SAP Data Services is a plus).
- Google Cloud certifications are considered a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactivity, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Goal-oriented mindset and proactive approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
