The Global Logistics Project Manager is responsible for designing, optimizing, and automating logistics workflows to drive efficiency, scalability, and customer-centric solutions across a complex international network. This role focuses on process mapping, digitalization through RPA and AI, and executing improvements spanning order capture, order management, inventory, and collections. Acting as a key liaison between global and regional teams, the role ensures that strategic logistics projects are delivered successfully and aligned to organizational priorities.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Lead global and regional logistics projects from initiation through successful implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategy.

  • Design and optimize end-to-end logistics workflows, focusing on automation, scalability, and adaptability for diverse market needs.

  • Map, analyze, and re-engineer logistics processes to eliminate inefficiencies and introduce best practices.

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to configure, test, and deploy RPA, AI-driven functionalities, and other relevant digital tools.

  • Drive improvements in order capture, order management, inventory control, and collections processes to maximize operational performance.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, establishing clear timelines and success metrics.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional international teams (finance, supply chain, IT, sales, and operations) to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Monitor, track, and report project performance against objectives, identifying and escalating risks where necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with international trade, logistics regulations, and internal company standards.

  • Serve as subject matter expert in logistics process transformation, advising leadership on opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

What will make you successful?

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in global logistics, supply chain operations, or project management.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale logistics or operations transformation projects across multiple geographies.

  • Hands-on experience with process mapping, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and change management.

  • Strong knowledge of RPA, AI applications, and digital process automation in a logistics or supply chain environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, or comparable platforms).

  • Excellent project management skills, with certification preferred.

  • Strong analytical ability with the capacity to translate data and process insights into actionable improvements.

  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, multicultural context.

  • Proficiency in English is required; Italian and/or other languages are an advantage.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance execution detail with long-term vision.

  • Strong focus on delivering measurable, data-driven business impact.

  • Collaborative leadership style with cross-functional influencing skills.

  • Adaptability to complex, fast-paced, and changing business environments.
  •  Commitment to continuous improvement, with a strong focus on digital transformation and innovation.
