Senior Technical Product Owner for driving future Data Platform setup

As our new Senior Technical Product Owner, you will join two international, cross-functional teams, Insights Factory and Enterprise Data Platform and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization — from production and supply chain to sales and sustainability. You will be part of a farmer-owned company with deep roots in Danish cooperative traditions and a strong commitment to delivering quality food products to millions of consumers worldwide. 

In this role, you will help shape the future of digital solutions that support both our business and our cooperative members.

Your Role
You will be at the heart of our product development efforts, ensuring that our deliveries and tools meet business needs while creating tangible value for farmers, colleagues, and consumers. As a Senior Technical Product Owner, you will define the vision, set the direction, and ensure alignment between strategy and execution. You will join a small team of Technical Product Owners in our Data & Analytics domain, empowering you to be a key contributor in strengthening product management practices across the domain and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive analysis and implementation process of our future Data Platform setup in collaboration with the teams, external partners and business.
• Define and drive the vision and roadmap for your product area in alignment with business strategy, cooperative values, and sustainability ambitions. 
• Ensure that our teams proactively prepare for our future architectural setup with SAP Business Data Cloud and Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, by actively taking ownership of the team architecture.
• Take ownership of the product backlog, prioritizing based on business value, customer needs, and technical considerations.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable Epics and Features and with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Engage and align with senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration, ensuring transparency and alignment across functions.
• Support business case development and articulate the value of initiatives to management, stakeholders and the team.
• Identify and resolve dependencies and blockers to secure successful delivery.
• Mentor and support other Product Owners and team members in applying Agile principles and product management best practices.
• Monitor product performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure learnings are shared across teams.
• Represent the product and team in governance forums and in stakeholder interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or Senior Technical Product Owner in an Agile environment, preferably within a global organization.
• Strong track record of delivering digital solutions that create measurable business impact.
• Ability to define and communicate product visions that connect business needs with business values and long-term strategy.
• Experience with backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
• Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills, with the ability to connect across diverse domains.
• Experience with frameworks such as Scrum or SaFE and familiarity with modern product management tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Danish is an advantage
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in complex environments.
• Experience mentoring or leading other Technical Product Owners is an advantage.
