About the job

Within SM.I.LE80 engineering organization we are looking for a Product Owner  who can actively and effectively contribute to the evolution of SM.I.LE80 product, bringing in his experience and willing to learn about the unique blend of robotics, software engineering, automation and networking we have. We do value teamwork, openness, transparency, respect and courage, playing together in a fully Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers/users/stakeholders needs and eventually translate them into requirements and specifications in a way understandable to business users and the technical teams
• Define priorities for functionalities and features, create and keep up-to-date project/product backlog, manage user stories & acceptance criteria, ensuring coherent evolution inside the product ecosystem.
• Support the software development, QA, UX teams, build a collaborative interaction making yourself available for clarifications, take into the account the team viewpoint and their needs as well.
• Own product delivery collaterals, ensuing the proper communications channels are updated. Design and conduct user training courses, draft, update and maintain product documentation.
   

Required Technical Qualifications

Technical

• Master Degree in software/computer science/management engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of working experience in a similar product related role, building software products in the enterprise / B2B / industrial context
• Proven experience dealing with building and shipping technical products, with particular focus on at least one of these areas: data-driven solutions, management systems, control systems.
• Strong understanding of IIOT and WMS/WES/WCS related markets/needs/technologies
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, services and APIs

Non Technical

• Working experience with agile methodologies
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle customer issues

Other Qualifications

• Working experience within the industrial automation, telco or mission critical software is highly appreciated
• Extensive understanding of the logistics & distribution environment is a considered a plus
