This work has a direct path to production, evolving into key components of our core ecosystem—whether it's enhancing our enterprise platform, refining our translator tools or improving Lara Translate, our AI translator.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join our team at Translated and help shape the TranslationOS ecosystem — our advanced translation orchestration platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless, responsive, and high-performance user experience across various parts of the product.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an interdisciplinary team working on one of the company's most critical and impactful projects. You'll collaborate closely with Backend Engineers, the Product Team, Designers and other Frontend devs to drive the success of TranslationOS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality code: write and ship frontend code that is effective, accessible, and high-performing.
• Test Thoroughly: create comprehensive tests to ensure your code is reliable and maintainable.
• Troubleshoot & debug: diagnose issues swiftly and implement robust fixes.
• Collaborate across teams: work closely with designers and backend engineers to build cohesive, integrated solutions.
• Stay current: continuously refine your skills by keeping up with current best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• React: extensive experience building complex and dynamic user interfaces.
• TypeScript: expertise in creating robust, type-safe applications.
• CSS: advanced skills in crafting responsive, visually appealing layouts.
• Git & GitHub Workflows: proficient in version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Testing Frameworks: hands-on experience using Vitest or Jest for unit testing.
• End-to-End Testing: familiarity with tools like Playwright for comprehensive testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend Monitoring & Performance Tooling: familiarity with tools and techniques for monitoring and optimizing frontend performance.
• Bundling Tools: experience with modern bundlers such as Vite.
