Your Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial
Account Manager
to develop and grow our
Savory business
across
Italy and Greece
. The role combines
strategic account management
with a strong
hunter mindset
, covering both the development of existing customer relationships and the active scouting of new business opportunities.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth in line with budgetary targets, managing annual price negotiations, and acting as a key interface between customers and internal teams (R&D, production, and remote cross-functional teams) across the region.

  • Develop and manage strong, long-term customer relationships in Italy and Greece
  • Drive sales growth in line with agreed
    budgetary and strategic goals
  • Actively
    scout, hunt, and develop new business opportunities
    , especially within the savory segment
  • Prepare sales budgets and lead
    annual price negotiations
    with customers
  • Perform
    market intelligence and competitive analysis
    for savory products and ingredients
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into commercial and technical solutions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Work closely with
    R&D and production
    to support customer projects and product development
  • Effectively engage and collaborate with
    remote and cross-functional teams
  • Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations

About You

  • Degree in
    Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry
    , or related field
  • Experience in sales
    or account management
    within the ingredients business
  • Solid
    savory experience
    (mandatory)
  • Strong
    technical background
    with exposure to
    R&D and/or production
  • Demonstrated success in
    new business development (hunter profile)
  • Strong
    customer focus
    and excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of
    negotiation skills and persuasiveness
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Flexible, agile, and able to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working independently and with remote teams
  • Languages:
    Italian (mother tongue), English (bilingual)
    , Greek (highly appreciated)
