On behalf of our client, a well‑established CDMO operating in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sector, Jefferson Wells is looking for a:

MARKETING MANAGER – NUTRACEUTICALS

Position Overview

The role reports to the Commercial Director – Nutraceuticals and is responsible for developing the marketing strategy to support business growth, identifying market and customer needs and translating them into concrete actions within the company's product and service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

Define, lead and monitor all marketing activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market evolution.

Develop the annual Marketing Plan, with clear prioritisation of initiatives and definition of measurable KPIs.

Collaborate closely with the Product Innovation team to expand the new product pipeline through market analysis, trend monitoring, customer and consumer insights, and the development of business cases to support decision-making.

Analyse market data, trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities.

Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to define and execute the annual communication plan, including marketing materials and key customer activation touchpoints, ensuring consistency, effectiveness and content quality.

Actively support business development and sales activities by identifying leads, product opportunities and projects to be shared with the Sales team, contributing to the expansion of the target customer database and strengthening of the project pipeline.

Support the Sales team in the continuous improvement of commercial best practices, providing tools, materials and marketing support aimed at enhancing customer relationships, loyalty and satisfaction.

Analyse sales performance, portfolio dynamics (e.g. saturation, diversification) and customer feedback to identify needs and opportunities to be integrated into the company's offering and product portfolio evolution.

Manage and develop the marketing team, ensuring effective coordination, performance monitoring, professional growth and continuous improvement of competencies.

Requirements and Skills:

Scientific degree (CTF, Pharmacy, Biology or similar) or an Economics/Business degree.

At least 5 years of experience in the same role within companies operating in the nutraceutical sector.

Experience in Project Management and familiarity with core Project Management tools.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with excellent proficiency in PowerPoint.

Fluency of the English language.

Soft Skills: excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, strategic thinking, creativity and problem-solving ability, strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, dynamism, flexibility and excellent organisational skills.
