To introduce:

A high-end Italian hospitality group with three properties and a family sailing product is hiring a Property Experience Host for its Milan Boutique Lodging, with a commitment to work twice a week, from 08.30 a.m. to 18.30 p.m.

The group started with a boutique art and design hotel in the city center of Rome called Crossing Condotti before expanding into Sicily with a luxury villa called Crossing the Rock (for which we work exclusively with a London travel agency - TheThinkingTraveller) and an all-inclusive sailing holiday for groups and families called Crossing the Sea with itineraries in the Greek Sporades Islands and the Sicilian Aeolian Islands. The group's most recent endeavour is a boutique art and design hotel, in Milan, just between Via Montenapoleone and Teatro Alla Scala.

The hotels and the villa are defined by their interior style with a mix of modern art, iconic designer pieces and beautiful historical furniture and portraits from the family collection. The ideal candidate will be courteous, well presented, well-spoken and enjoy engaging with guests who expect premium service and care.

We are looking for a multi-tasker who is responsible for the day to day running of the property and has a natural flair for customer service. Our guests will look to you for advice, general customer service, assistance and more.

You need to be ready with a smile and a solution or suggestion right away. Our boutique hotel has a unique set up and calls for careful management, much like running a full service luxury villa.

Key Responsibilities:

•Greet and welcome guests.

•Act as the expert point of reference for guests who need assistance or information, providing them with personalized suggestions for activities and highlights in Milan as well as making reservations.

•Pre and post trip administration of bookings.

•Check-in and check-out including all associated administrative procedures.

•Day to day communications by email with travel agencies and guests.

•Organise, manage, and carry out site inspections and visits for journalists and influencers.

•Gently guide the small housekeeping team

•Carry out basic maintenance tasks

You derive great satisfaction from assisting your guests in all their requests, from a simple restaurant reservation to preparing the scene for a romantic proposal.

You are dynamic and fast on your feet.

You speak superb English and have excellent formal writing skills.

Qualifications:

•2/3 years' experience in the luxury/high end sector (luxury retail, cruise or similar is also acceptable)

•Bachelor's degree

•Languages: native or near native English speaker preferred, fluent Italian required, other languages appreciated

•A passion for art, culture and the history of Milan and enjoys chatting about it with interested guests

•Organized, self-motivated, gregarious communicator, with impeccable written and spoken English and Italian language skills.

Flexibility to work a variety of hours including public holidays and weekends is required.

We expect exceptional service for our guests and reward our staff accordingly. Candidates with a minimum English language capability of C1 or above will be considered, B1 or B2 is insufficient.
