My client seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong focus on space thermo-mechanical design to join their engineering team. You will join a fast-paced engineering team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge space systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate thermo-mechanical designs for space applications
  • Use tools such as CREO, Femap, NX Nastran, ANSYS Workbench, Thermica, or equivalent to perform analysis and simulations
  • Communicate design concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Support rapid design iterations in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Liaise with manufacturers during the production phase, ensuring designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience with CAD/CAE tools for mechanical and thermal analysis
  • Solid understanding of space systems and thermo-mechanical design principles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and dynamic project requirements
  • Experience interacting with manufacturers and supporting design-for-manufacture processes
