About the Role
- We are currently looking for a skilled
FOOTWEAR CAD PRODUCT ENGINEER
to join our Racing Department to take on a pivotal position in product development so to create innovative, high-quality and technical products.
Responsibilities:
- 2D/3D modeling for product engineering;
- Production information flow management, facilitating communication and exchange of information between the Footwear Department and internal and external stakeholders;
- Make LAB test requirement for each item necessary for footwear collections (outsole, plastic parts, mechanism), linked to Activity Plan properly set;
- Collect the Quality Control docs for approval process (QC drawing starting from available 3D files; PPT file for QC checking);
- Labelling for approval to distribute to site production/ internal department as per QC procedure;
- Regular communication with production site and nominated supplier for R&D development activities (material and flat sheet samples / injected parts / technical datasheet alignment);
- Discuss and implements corrective actions when required, to maintain adherence to product design and prevent/resolve material and/or process-related defects;
- Data record for all technical specification and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical engineer is preferable;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience
in automotive or Footwear industries; - 3D CAD knowledge CATIA surface modelling is a must have;
- Good communicative skills;
- Fluency in English.
