Service Engineer

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Service team. He/she will be responsible for covering technical support for the entire Lazio Region. The Service Engineer performs required preventive and corrective maintenance on the STERIS/Cantel product lines and field troubleshooting primarily in his/her service area in the country.

• Perform installations preventive and corrective maintenance required on STERIS/Cantel product lines, related product lines, and competitive equipment.  This includes:  disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment (i.e., schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, etc.).
• Perform administrative duties as assigned including computer synchronization daily, complete service reports, maintaining tools and parts inventory to prescribed levels as required by Team Leaders and Service Manager.
• Uses the Corporate applications (Siebel, Oracle, Sales Connection, others) to handle his daily activity.
• Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales organization.
• Maintains a courteous and professional demeanour when working with customers, contractors,management, and fellow employees. Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all STERIS and Customer Health & Safety protocols and procedures. 
• Provide solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field through effective positioning of STERIS/Cantel products and services, identifying opportunities, and passing leads to management and sales

2. Plus: Minimum of 2 years industry related experience and a general knowledge of operating washing and sterilize processing units
3. Valid driver's license required and willingness to travel (80% of the time)

4. Good troubleshooting skills as well as proven organization attitude

5. Sufficient technical knowledge of the English language.

6. Completion of a recognized mechanical, electrical, or electronic technical training scheme.
