Agronomic & Digital Innovation Specialist (m/f/d) 

Bayer Crop Science is looking for a brilliant and motivated Agronomic & Digital innovation Specialist.

The role involves the implementation of marketing strategies/campaign activation, Agronomy/Market Development on Crop Protection and Corn seed activities and digital activation activities at customer level.

Additionally, the role includes supporting and transmitting new business opportunities detected in the field, acting as a key marketing, Digital and Field Demo contact for the company.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Crop Protection: Reference point for Key Influencers and assist in gathering information on CP products and including CP products in Disciplinary listsTransfer Knowledge: Collaborate and support the Field Agents from a technical and agronomic perspective (Seeds, CP, Digital) as relevantMarketing: Collaborate and support with the squad to develop and execute marketing campaigns, maximizing sales and profitability at the grower level. Adapts campaign plans to team requirementsAgronomy: Assist and support in conducting Field and Demo Trials (incl. Seeds / Digital and CP) in alignment with guidance from the Agronomic expert squad. Responsible for data management for identified initiatives (protocols adaptation, data collection, data analyses)Support Value proposition definition for Bayer solutionsSupport transform initiatives as key point of reference within squad, including Regenerative agriculture/food chainCoordinates complaint handling at squad levelSupport introduction, onboarding, training of digital farming tools, provide 1st level of post-sales support

WHO YOU ARE:

Degree in AgricultureAt least 2/3 years of experience in AgricultureGood understanding of at least one of the three areas (Agronomy / Market Development, Digital, Campaign Activation) and a general understanding of all threeGood Agronomic background with a key focus on Corn Seed and Crop Protection (incl.biologicals) businessWillingness to learn and proactive approachGood communication, collaboration, influencing, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills Result orientedDigital acumen: being able to manage internal software to collect assessments and create reportsBasic knowledge about agricultural machinery, the technology used in machinery and how to use it on the precision agriculture sideGood knowledge of English and Italian mother tongueResidence or domicile in Lombardia
