Senior Project Procurement Manager - Italy Rome, 62, IT, *****RWE Renewables Italia S.r.l.To start as soon as possibleFunctional area: ProcurementOverviewAs Senior Project Procurement Manager for RWE Renewable's Onshore Wind, PV and Storage pipeline in Italy within our Europe & Australia Procurement team, you will be responsible to define & implement the supplier strategy for the Italian market embedded into the global strategy for Wind Onshore, PV and Storage projects.You take full responsibility for all main CAPEX and EPC and/ or BoP contracts during the development and construction phase and optimize our supply chain measures throughout the entire project life cycle both from project and project portfolio perspective.You should also have an overall understanding of all the Procurement activities performed in Italy by our other Procurement Departments, centrally and locally.Your future role- Development and implementation of an active supplier relationship management with suppliers for main components and services- Leading of local content projects to strengthen the supply chain within Italy- Management and negotiation of large and complex project tenders for all external lots for the respective technologies (Wind Onshore, PV and Storage) in multidisciplinary and international teams- Development, implementation and management of purchasing strategies for these contracts- Development of an optimized and standardized tendering process for the project development and construction contracts- Development and implementation of an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the development, construction and operation departments as well as management in country and headquarter- Alignment management with Global Category Procurement for PV modules and Wind turbines outside of Italy- CAPEX cost planning for new projects and grid interconnection works during prior and during financial investment decisions.- Preparation of decision templates for the management including risk mitigation and cost-benefit analysis.- Guidance to the Procurement colleagues from other departments in their activities on the Italian market, providing priorities in the Italian pipeline and being a first point of escalation in case of needYour profile- Several years of working experience in Procurement on an international level including proven leadership-, management- and project management skills- Several years of relevant experience in management and processing of large and complex tenders for EPC contracts and/or for power plant / industry or infrastructure projects (Capex / Opex) within Italy and internationally- Ideally paired with several years of working experience in a key function such as Project Manager, Development responsible, or Construction Manager- Strong strategic and commercial awareness combined with both analytical skills and the ability to drive complex Procurement projects- Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively and maintain key stakeholder relationships within suppliers- Successfully completed studies in engineering or business economics, additional legal qualification advantageous- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams- Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures- Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English - other languages advantageous (e.g. German)- Willingness to travel within Italy as well as internationallyWe value diversity and therefore welcome all applications, irrespective of gender, disability, nationality, ethnic and social background, religion and beliefs, age or sexual orientation and identity.#inclusionmattersWe look forward to receiving your applicationAs one of the world's leading companies in the renewable energy space in Europe and Australia, RWE Renewables Europe & Australia is proud to be paving the way for a greener future.We've got over 1,400 employees, all developing and promoting renewable energies across 12 countries.They specialise in the construction of onshore wind turbines, solar plants, and battery storage systems.And they all share the desire to redefine how millions access energy.Now, we're looking for more people with the skills and ambition to drive the energy transition.Join RWE Renewables Europe & Australia.Your energy has impact, use it for good.If you would like to stay informed about our latest activities, then feel free to visit our Website or follow us on LinkedIn.#J-*****-Ljbffr
